COAST TO COAST DEVELOPMENT, INC. was founded in 1994 by Aurelio Peccei and Charles Marzot. Aurelio and Charles--or Augie and Charlie, as they are known--are cousins. They have both been involved in building, custom, extremely well-crafted housed on the Upper Cape for over a decade. They founded Coast to Coast Development to increase the scope of their work. Indeed the company has grown considerably since its inception, as well as their reputation for quality and service.

Both cousins bring extraordinary talent and intelligence to this joint venture. Their abilities are complementary, which makes for a very strong team. Augie has a degree from MIT ('87). Charlie studied at the California institute of the Arts in Valencia in the 70's and later earned a BS from Lesley College.

Augie is praised not only for his ability to produce flawless plans but also for listening to his clients. Because he has participated on the actual construction. Augie is skilled at solving complex design problems is practical way.

Charlie's artistic talent is evident in all phases of a building project, from design to finished carpentry. Combined with his hands-on skills as a builder, Charlie has an artist's eye for scale and balance, and impeccable decorating sense.

The cousins are bi-coastal, hence the name of the company-COAST TO COAST. Augie now lives in San Carlos, a suburb of San Francisco, and COAST TO COAST has a number of projects there. However, the principal activity of the company is on Cape Cod. Typically, Augie, who is the CEO of the company, does the drafting and accounting at home in California and commuters every 4-6 weeks to Cape Cod to meet with clients, visit job sites and look at future properties.

Charlie lives in Falmouth, and is the President of COAST TO COAST. He is in charge of the job sites on the Cape, coordinating and organizing the work of subcontractors. He also deals with the local building commissions, obtaining all the necessary permits and variances, and interfaces with clients on a regular basis. In addition, Charlie identifies potential building sites and development projects for the company.
